A Bavarian Dinner

After lunch I met up with my third roommate. Her name is Meri and from Washington state. She has an amazing story, she traveled for a year when she was out of college but has always wanted to do it again. She just retired, sold her house, and will be traveling for a year and a half!! I think it is so admirable to do that. Her furniture and belongings are with friends and she is off to Turkey tomorrow.

Katie came back from walking around and we helped Mary set up her wifi, upload pictures to her computer and then to facebook. Mary is a go getter, that is for sure! I wanted to get dinner but Mary had bought white fish and a roll earlier and Katie had corn (low budget) anyway, once Mary got onto Skype for a phone call home, Katie and I went to get me some food.

We walked around and I showed her Old City as she had not seen it earlier. We found a little place behind the square market and headed in. It was so toasty warm inside! I ordered spatel (which is like a noodle) and it was cooked in cheese and cream with chives and leeks. It was good but very very filling!
