After I soaked all of that in, I went to my mail. Only a couple of pieces were brought, but I knew I had to open my sister's first. The envelope was so cute and it was filled with glitter and sparkles and all of that jazz. Now, this is something that my mom usually does and although I loved it, I was not expecting it; in other words, glitter got all over the bed. I loved to the desk and continued to open it. I saw a package that said "not just glitter" so I opened that. A beautiful silver pearl necklace was inside. Then I pulled out the card that said "open me first"... ooops! I opened it and as always my sister is wonderful and wrote lots of stuff to keep me going strong in my travels. She even included (more glitter and) a candle that said Happy Birthday with instructions to find a German pastry, put it in, light it, and make a wish. I am not really sure what I could possibly wish for at this point, but I am sure I will think of something good.
We (myself, Justin and his co-worker) headed out to find lunch. We found a Bavarian place and I ordered a vegetable thing with a salad. That is all that I got from the menu and waitress's description. Anyway, it wound up being different vegetables put in a pastry dough to form a semi-lasagna. It was very good and the salad was the most salad like thing I have had in Germany!
