Tutoring

After talking with my dad I realized that I never filled you guys in with my tutoring thing. I have been placed with two families in the South of France. The first family is about an hour from Aix-en-Provence and has a 12 year old daughter. They do not think that learning a language in the school is very well done and so they are bringing me in. They do not want me to make any lessons, they just want me to talk, watch movies, convert ingredients, cook and interact with their daughter. This is something I am entirely looking forward to.

I was told she likes Twilight, Harry Potter, and the Jonas Brothers. I want to bring the girl something but do not know what. The mother said that she will not read English (so the books are out) and I am guessing she already has the cd or mp3s of the Jonas Brothers. Any ideas?

I will be with them for 15 days and then I will be with a couple who are about my age. They have not gotten back to me with the details of what they are looking for or want but I am excited about that one too! They live pretty close to the first family so that should be good.
