I headed back to the hostel and was so hot I wet my hair. Then I filled my water bottle and was off to grab some food. I found a place with pizza and bought a slice, it was not good though.
The train ride was uneventful, although it looked more like what I thought Aix would look like. There were fields everywhere and green and it was so pretty. I enjoyed looking out the window.
I got to the station and headed towards the information sign to get a map. The information stand was MIA and so I just did what I always do, I followed the crowd. They lead me straight to the wall and I walked up it. It was very pretty and had great views.
As I walked I noticed lots of people with bags and flowers. A huge flower/plant sale was going on. I bought a ticket and headed in. It was amazing. They had a fruit section, a flower section and a pumpkin section. I wish my mom was there, she would have loved it. It really was quite amazing and they had lots of informative talks and tables. Justin would have loved the place, but I am glad he was not there, he would have gone broke from buying everything in no time. I got some amazing pictures of flowers during my stay, but not really of the town.
They even had lemon trees with the largest lemons I have ever seen.
I did not get to see the city but I needed to make the train before I was stuck overnight. I stopped to grab some ravioli with pine nuts (recommended by the waitress) and cannelloni beans and then caught the train back to Florence.
