As the elevator doors opened, Robert came out. He said meet at the car in 5 minutes and Justin is looking for me. I headed to the lobby - no Justin. I headed to the car - no Justin. i headed back into the elevator and pushed no buttons, waiting to see where it would take me. It took me to the top and floor and there was Justin and Robert. Apparently Justin saw me head to the car and figured he would run into me again.
We headed back to the base but stopped for a quick lunch. Justin got a very common warmed meat loaf thing slices on bread and I got a Mexican thing. I am pretty sure Justin got Spam, he could only eat half of his sandwich. When we were done we met up with the other people taking the class. They all seem really nice. Some are stationed in Germany and others in Italy. I heard that we were going to a castle but I was not sure if it was the same castle that I had wanted to go to when in Munich - it was! I was so happy I did not then and that I got a free trip up and got to see it with Justin ::insert 'aww' now::.
The ride to Neuschwanstein Castle was beautiful. I guess I did not have an idea of what Germany would really be like, but the country side is just like I thought Austria would look like. I guess this makes sense since you could see Austria past the Alps.
We stopped off at a sight seeing spot and took some breathtaking pictures. From where we were standing, you could even see the castles that we were headed towards. We got back in the cars and continued on. One of the guys in my car, Jeremy was saying how he had been here before and refused to walk from one castle to the next. Basically, we all felt the same way when he was done with his rant of how hard the climb was.
We were dropped off by a smaller castle, which we did not go to; and the Sargent bought our tour tickets. We headed to the horse and carriage to take us up the mountain (the tour ticket was 10,80 and the carriage ride up was 6,00- way better deal than 35 + 9. I heard the tour was only 9 and the carriage was 2,60 but I guess those were old prices).
