Jardin de Compans Caffarelli

When I arrived in Toulouse, I bought my ticket for tomorrow (to Marseille) and then began my day. I decided to stop by the Jardin de Compans Caffarelli, which is a Japanese garden. I saw it on the map but it looked out of the way; my friend at Gran Rond mentioned it and then Fanny talked about it this morning. I decided I should check it out so to the right, along canal midi, I walked. I made it there in good time and it was very pretty. There was a fountain with one large spray of water and lots of orange flowers. As I walked, there were flower patches all over and the Japanese Garden. It was very small but nice. I took some pictures of the house, statue and bridge and enjoyed the photo exhibit that they had. I had seen just about it all and decided to continue on.

I found a sandwich shop and got a sandwich that I enjoyed with my water. I continued on and found a beautiful bridge. There were lights just like in Paris and a ferris wheel. I snapped some shots and made my way towards the ferris wheel. I told myself that if it was a euro I would enjoy a ride, but as I got closer decided to just enjoy the music and look for the Prarie des Filtres. This is where a lot of the students in Toulouse go to hang out and it has a beach theme right now. I arrived and there were volleyball nets, ping pong tables and a rock wall all set up along the water. They had lawn chairs set up under the trees and about 20 blow up bouncy things for kids. It was a nice place to stop and enjoy the weather for a while.
