The Un-French Meal

By the time I got back from the other garden, I was hot and sweaty. I went for a quick swim and then prepared for lunch. Fanny was making broccoli quiche and pumpkin pizza. As I was drying off, she was going in for a quick swim. By the time she got out, the quiche was a bit burnt.

She spent the next five minutes scraping off the burned cheese and broccoli and putting the pizza in the oven. We ate before the pizza was done. Although the meal was not so very traditional French, it was good. I have some more cherry tomatoes, cooked pumpkin, sliced cucumber and melon.

Fanny is going out of town tonight to see her brother and will be back in the morning. Christian will go to the super market on the scooter and I will relax at home. Tomorrow he will be going into Toulouse but I think I will take the opportunity to explore the town and take some pictures of the scenery I have been eying.
