When I went to check in for the fourth time there were some guys in front of me. It appeared to be four together but wound up three and then one separate. The three were from New York and just a "typical" American. Loud, cracking not so funny jokes, and involving the room with their stories, issues, situation. The other guy was from California and seemed real chill, turned out he was to be my room mate (referred to hereafter as Jeremy).
We got to the room and got organized. The room is really big and nice. The bunk beds are wooden and the shower is a small size for America but nice size for France. The hostel also has a washing machine and drier, which I will definitely be taking advantage of. Jeremy was off to look for an open beach (the one he went to earlier was closed due to last night's heavy rains) and then another roommate arrived. His name is Galij (spelled with letters that are not English). He is from Hungry and really nice, knows almost no English though.
Later in the night I met up with him in the common room. He is really nice but due to our non-communication abilities we had issues. I used my computer and babblefish.com to translate so we could make some sense of each other. He is some type of engineer and is on holiday right now. He loves Italy and went to about 5 cities there, is here for three days, and then will go back to Italy.
