On the way back, I started walking in the wrong direction. I caught myself and began again. During the walk back (easier than going but still not easy) I was thinking many things: For a town that is so big for tourists, why don't they make signs and make life easier? How could none of the lame souvinere shops have a disposible camera? Did I really see everything that there was? Did I miss something, was there more? How could I have seen "all of it" so quickly? My thoughts ended when I saw a woman standing in the middle of the sidewalk, looking at her tourist map, turning the tourist map, and looking for street signs. I pointed her in the direction and found my favorite street.
Since I was leaving so early I was able to explore many of the little shops. I wish that I had more room, there were some great shoes (Baker, this was definitely your type of street and you would have been impressed with the shoes that I was looking at) I believe that I have spoken before about these popular MC Hammer type pants, that look like Aladdin's genie and a baby that pooped it's diaper. I found a pair of the pants for 17 euro and talked myself out of getting them... Anyway!
I got a couple of postcards to send out to people, as well as to take pictures and post on here so you know what the place looked like. I was not so impressed and other than the shot of the bridge, I was not so upset about not having a camera. By the time I made it to the train station area, I had three hours to kill. I found a spot near a fountain and enjoyed the sun. There were some squabbler kids with their dogs. One guy was practicing his juggling, which amused me for a while, but then I decided I should move.
I headed to another area of the square (I wish it was grassy so I could lay out my blanket) and found a little tent that they were setting up for the yearly town festival. I laid down there for a bit and then headed to the train station.
